[Speak Easy Society] The Vision

Hey hey heyyyy!

Thank you for your interest in the Speak Easy Society, which is essentially my vision to gather Rochester women together who are ready to do any or all of the following:

  • Share their story with others (without fear of judgment)
  • Shed their fear of speaking in front of others
  • Step into the courage to say what they're thinking
  • Speak their vision or dream into existence
  • Connect with and support other women who are done hiding or playing small
  • Ready to make their speaker dreams come true by just getting some reps in

This idea came to me in April, when I felt like I was ready to BURST from a long winter and too many days inside, working from home, from inside what felt like a lonely, desolate silo in the middle of Wayne County. 🐄

But then...

I found myself getting energized by exchanging soooo many audio notes with my biz bestie, Krista Hudson...

And it occurred to me...

Women need more support. We need to speak. And we need to share our stories with others.

We need to share our visions with each other and know we've got cheerleaders in our corner, rooting for us to achieve beyond what we thought was possible.

We need opportunities to connect with each other beyond a typical networking event, where you get tired of sharing "what you do" or "who you help" every 8 1/2 minutes. 😬

We need more IN REAL LIFE EVENTS that feel like a natural extension of our authentic selves.

And we need to stop playing small. We need to not be afraid to use our voice. We need to be reminded that our stories are not just important, but they have the ability to create MAGIC.

Yes... that's right!

MAGIC!!

Because the moment we decide to show up and speak up is the moment the good energy starts to flow.

It's the moment the Universe rewards you for your bravery.

It's this moment of release... and of realizing that you contain SO. MANY. POSSIBILITIES inside of you. They are truly endless!

Okay, is that enough "woo" for you today? 😂

Whether you are "woo" or not... I can't wait for our first Speak Easy Society event! 😁

👉 The current status is that we are still looking for a venue where we can make this all happen. My biz bestie and I are actively working on it, and you'll be the first to know when we've solidified a date and location, mkay?

In the meantime, please share this signup page with other women you know who would resonate with everything I said in this email.

'Cause it's only a matter of time until this event is rockin' and rollin'!

TTFN,

-Rachael

P.S. If you own a service-based business and are looking to find your (brand) voice, get aligned clients, or strengthen your point of view so it's easier to show up and market yourself, I help women do exactly those things. (Just thought I'd mention it. 😉)

I realize you—most likely—get SEVERAL emails on a daily basis. I promise to only send emails that are enjoyable and/or can help move your business forward. But I realize that I'm not everyone's cup of tea ☕ so if you're not feeling it, no worries, no harm, and no foul! The Real Deal Digest Issue No. 34 Estimated read time: 4-5 minutes Us Rochester folk may not have any major league baseball, pro football or premium hockey teams playing inside our city, but boy do I love going to Rochester Red Wings games over the summer. (That's our Triple A baseball team.) Well, at least *I* used to love going to the Rochester Red Wings games. That all changed yesterday. YESTERDAY I LOST IT, Reader! I don't know if they got a new music director or what, but I don't...

The Real Deal Digest Issue No. 33 Side note: I wrote 80% of this newsletter a few weeks ago. Then I set it aside because I wanted to write about something else… then Mr. Zuck-F*ck announced his newest enshittification of Instagram this past week, so what I wrote has become relevant again. And yes. There will be a bit more cursing than normal in this edition of The Real Deal Digest. If that makes you uncomfortable, you are always welcome to unsubscribe. 😉 Yesterday, with great hesitation, I...
